Greek gods, American superheroes, Californian blondes and doomed lovers cut out from cartoons and pop art are compiled into 12 short movies. “Sixty Six” is the crowning achievement of Lewis Klahr’s long career, a heartfelt hommage to the American pulp of the ‘60s and a psychedelic trip into the pop-cultural unconscious.

No art scene without moving images. But where is the art scene in cinema? A debate on the joy of exhibiting, being exhibited and needless compartmentalising.
