Everyday life in Damascus. Three women share a small, dark apartment. Syrian director Sara Fattahi portrays her mother and grandmother, while the civil war places them under siege. A montage of intimate moments without any visible violence conveys a powerful and tender portrait of a society disintegrating day by day.
